MODEL 5300 - PLANER-SANDER

The Model 5300 is built in standard widths of 37", 52" and 64" wide with up to five planing and sanding heads. Top and bottom systems will be quoted upon request. The 5300 is a rugged 24/7 machine that can be equipped with up to 125 HP motors on the planing/sanding heads.

• Cutterhead is followed by contact drum and/or combination heads
• Cutterhead and sanding units adjustable include dial indicators
• Air "pop-up" with selector switch on sanding heads
• Sectional infeed shoe on cutterhead
• Anti-kickback fingers on infeed
• Portable stand to remove cutterhead
• Maximum 60 HP on cutterhead and 125 HP on sanding heads
• Abrasive belt length 75 or 103"
• Electronic abrasive belt tracking
• Disc brakes on all heads
• Load Meters
• Variable feed speed
• Double holddown rolls on sanding heads
• Motorized lift
• Electronic "Go-To" device with feed speed readout.
• 6" thickness opening
• Infeed safety stop bar and door interlocks for operator protection
